CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS
CATS, established in 2009, tackles the scarcity of public lands and hiking opportunities in the Champlain Valley, ensuring that all Adirondack communities have equitable access to trails and nature.
To date, they’ve created over 100 miles of trails, conserved 983 acres directly and another 2,000 through partnerships, and hosted countless volunteer events, hikes, and outdoor education outings that have drawn thousands of visitors to the region.
NORTHEAST WILDERNESS TRUST
Northeast Wilderness Trust is a non-profit land trust based in Montpelier, VT working to protect forever-wild landscapes for nature and people across the Northeast.
As the only land trust working across New England and New York exclusively to protect land as wilderness, the organization uses various land conservation tools and often works with conservation partners including other land trusts.
The Wilderness Trust was founded in 2002, and protects more than protects more than 104,000 forever-wild acres across New England and Northern New York.
The Boquet River Association (BRASS) is a small, membership-based, volunteer-oriented non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of water and life in the Boquet River watershed.

ADIRONDACK LAND TRUST
FALLBROOK LAND CONSERVANCY
Since 1988, the Fallbrook Land Conservancy has been protecting and caring for the open spaces that make our community unique. With more than 4,662 acres of permanently preserved land, we safeguard wildlife habitat, scenic views, and recreational trails for everyone to enjoy.
Through restoration, education, and community involvement, we’re working to ensure that Fallbrook’s natural beauty will be here for generations to come.
THE WILDLANDS CONSERVANCY
Founded in 1995, The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC) is dedicated to preserving the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and providing programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature. In working to achieve this mission, TWC has established the largest nonprofit nature preserve system in California, comprised of 22 preserves encompassing 178,000 acres of diverse mountain, valley, desert, river, and coastal landscapes. These preserves are open to the public free of charge for passive recreation, including camping, hiking, picnicking, birding, and more.
In late 2021, The Wildlands Conservancy took the bold step to expand its model of stewardship and free public access into additional western states with the acquisition of the 30,000-acre Cherry Creek Ranch, now Enchanted Rocks Preserve. Ultimately, saving our treasured landscapes from development means educating and instilling a love for nature in future generations. For this reason, TWC is also the state’s nonprofit leader in providing free outdoor education opportunities for California youth. Through these programs and our reverent stewardship of preserves—visited by more than 1.5 million people per year—we foster a love and respect for life in all of its magnificent forms.

SAIL CARGO INC
In 2019, they started building Ceiba, the largest sailing cargo ship of its kind. The aim was, and remains, to create a for-profit company and prove the value of clean shipping.
Since then, with support from investors around the world, the company has grown to become a globally recognized leader in the clean shipping movement. To meet cargo demand, they have expanded operations to include a growing fleet of zero-emission sailing ships.
WILDLIFE WORKS
Wildlife Works is a community-centered wildlife conservation company that implements market-based initiatives to protect the planet’s threatened wilderness and endangered wildlife.
The company was founded on the premise that if we want wildlife in our world, we have to make it work for local communities who share their environment.
In partnership with forest communities, Wildlife Works’ conservation projects provide safe havens for endangered species while creating local jobs and reducing millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually through the voluntary carbon market.

Since 1991, Wildlands Network has been committed to reconnecting, restoring and rewilding North America for the benefit of all species.
Thier work is founded in science, driven by fieldwork and furthered through strategic policy and partnerships. They envision a North America where nature is undivided, and where people coexist in harmony with our native plants and animals.

SAN DIEGO ZOO - ICR
The San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research has as its mission to gather, share and apply scientific knowledge vital to the conservation of animals, plants, and habitats worldwide.
The ICR is the world’s largest zoo-based, multi-disciplinary research team, with more than 150 scientists, researchers, technicians, post-doctoral fellows, and support staff, and more than 100 field conservation programs in over 35 countries.
Programs address the biological requirements of the target species, conservation and restoration of critical habitats, and training opportunities for range-country scientists and resource managers
WILD FARM ALLIANCE
Since 2000, Wild Farm Alliance has been working with farmers to achieve healthy, viable agriculture that protects and restores wild nature.
Their Nature-driven vision will deliver a diverse food supply with ecosystem health and complexity for generations to come.
They envision catalyzing a bold stewardship ethic among current and new generations of farmers, land stewards, agencies, nonprofits, policy makers, scientists and educational institutions. Their aim is to accelerate adoption of practices that cultivate biodiversity and ultimately scale this effort nationally.
RESERVA ZORZAL
Zorzal Cacao is an agroforestry project of Reserva Zorzal, a thousand-acre private bird sanctuary and 130-acre organic cacao farm in the northern Dominican Republic. Zorzal is actually the Spanish word for “thrush,” referring to the Bicknell’s Thrush, a migratory songbird which spends winters in the tropical forests of the preserve. Reserva Zorzal is even more unique in the world of cacao, as they have set aside seventy percent of the preserve’s land to be forever wild. They’re part of a carbon-offset project with thirteen other landowners, employ local wildlife monitors, and serve as a model for the integration of conservation & sustainable agroforestry. The cocoa trees are shade-grown to promote wildlife habitat and biodiversity, and all Reserva Zorzal cacao is certified organic.
OLD GROWTH FOREST NETWORK
Their goal is to locate and designate at least one protected forest in every county in the United States that can sustain a native forest.
They estimate that to be approximately 2,370 out of 3,140 total counties.
To achieve this aim they work to identify forests for the Network, ensure their protection, and inform people of the forest locations. They are building not only a network of forests, but also an alliance of people who care about forests.
